The Best Cilantro Sauce

The Best Cilantro Sauce

If you've ever ordered something at a restaurant just because of the sauce, this is that sauce. Our cilantro lime sauce is bright, garlicky, and just barely sweet from a touch of agave — and it takes about five minutes to make. Drizzle it on tacos, spoon it over grilled chicken, or use it as a dip. Once you make it, you'll want it on everything.

1 cup fresh cilantro (packed)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic
2–3 tbsp fresh lime juice
TBSP agave or to taste
Salt

Instructions:

  1. Add cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and salt to a blender or food processor.

  2. Blend until broken down.

  3. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending until smooth and emulsified.

  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime.

Notes

  • Add a splash of water to thin if needed

  • Keep it a little chunky for more texture, or blend fully smooth

  • Best used fresh but holds 2–3 days in the fridge

This is perfect for tacos, grilled meats, shrimp, veggies, or even as a marinade.
