The Best Cilantro Sauce
The Best Cilantro Sauce
If you've ever ordered something at a restaurant just because of the sauce, this is that sauce. Our cilantro lime sauce is bright, garlicky, and just barely sweet from a touch of agave — and it takes about five minutes to make. Drizzle it on tacos, spoon it over grilled chicken, or use it as a dip. Once you make it, you'll want it on everything.
1 cup fresh cilantro (packed)
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic
2–3 tbsp fresh lime juice
TBSP agave or to taste
Salt
Instructions:
Add cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and salt to a blender or food processor.
Blend until broken down.
Slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending until smooth and emulsified.
Taste and adjust salt or lime.
Notes
Add a splash of water to thin if needed
Keep it a little chunky for more texture, or blend fully smooth
Best used fresh but holds 2–3 days in the fridge
This is perfect for tacos, grilled meats, shrimp, veggies, or even as a marinade.
